Record Label Covers.

if i can show you the scetchbook it will explain them better.
the images are hand cut from newspapers and are representations of the name of the album. the album covers have no barcodes and notices on them as that would ruin the asthetic value... any information that needs to be on the front can go on the cd case not the outside sleeves.

hmmm....

SOME PHOTOGRAPHY FOR RICHARD AND STEVE.

Research shock

READ BELOW!!!

The Eye of Horus was one of the most common amulets of ancient Egypt. This highly stylized eye of the falcon-head, solar and sky god Horus (the Latin version of Hor) is associated with regeneration, health, and prosperity. Also is has become associated with the esoteric and the occult. Another name for the eye is udjat or utchat, meaning "sound eye."

About the Ankh Cross

http://www.holoweb.net/~liam/pictures/ankh/ankh.html

The Ankh Cross represents life (immortality) and death, male and female, balance.

"When the Roman Emperor Constantine claimed to have had a vision of death outside the walls of Jerusalem he made the symbol of punishment and death (the cross) synonymous with Christianity; Constantine's cross was made from a sword and a spear, a sign that a soldier could make, and non-Christians learned to hate and fear the brutality that was associated with this symbol for over a thousand years. As a result, the Ankh Cross, like the swastica usurped by the Nazis, has become associated also with Christianity."

Whilst doing research for the Record label breif i read about a guy called "Afrika Bambaataa" who is the so called Godfather or Grandad of Hip hop....

and as i was loking at a few images THIS ONE POPS UP!!!!

can you see what he is holding in his hands its a Ankh Cross. used in egyptian times to specify symbolism.

BUT THAT IS NOT ALL LOOK AT THE HAT!!! THE EYE OF HORUS... accociated with freemasonry the occult, Zionism and kabbala (black magic)...
